Nino
Katamadze

Nino Katamadze is one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary jazz — known for her extraordinary vocal range, improvisational freedom, and commanding stage presence.

She has developed a unique musical language blending jazz improvisation, Georgian folk traditions, rock energy, psychedelia, and experimental textures. Her performances are marked by emotional intensity, spontaneity, and a deep connection to Georgia's polyphonic heritage.

She has performed at Lincoln Center in New York, London's Clapham Grand, the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, and dozens of major stages across Europe. She has collaborated with legendary artists including Richard Bona and Bobby McFerrin.

In recent years, Katamadze has continued to perform in Ukraine despite the war — her appearances with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Ukraine have become a powerful expression of solidarity and human connection.

The Color
Albums

Nino's discography — a sequence of "color" albums beginning with White, her major European breakthrough — proved that music of depth, intelligence, and emotional power can cross all borders.

As the Kyiv Post once wrote: "You don't need to speak Georgian to understand Nino; her music is meant to be inhaled… as an antidote to loneliness."

Beyond the Stage

Humanitarian
Work

Nino Katamadze Foundation

Established in Georgia in March 2022, the Foundation was born out of a profound belief that empathy must be backed by action. Its core mission: comprehensive psychological, social, and cultural support to Ukrainian refugees in Georgia.

Through the Open Space project, the Foundation helps children and adolescents process the trauma of war through art therapy, cognitive development, and teamwork — offering them a safe space where they can simply be children again.

UNBROKEN Ambassador

Nino is an ambassador for UNBROKEN — a Ukrainian charity ecosystem focused on treatment, prosthetics, physical and psychological rehabilitation, and the reintegration of people affected by war.

Her civic work also reflects a long-standing commitment to animal welfare: since 2004, she has served as patron and board member of the Animals Protection Charity Foundation Argus.

"By supporting the Foundation, you stand with us on the frontlines of humanity, helping replace the echoes of war with the vibes of hope and love."
